Committed to a Safe Campus

Constituted under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act). Ensures a safe and respectful environment for all women employees and students.

Functions & Responsibilities
Receive Complaints

Accept and acknowledge written complaints of sexual harassment from women employees and students.

Conduct Inquiry

Carry out time-bound, impartial, and confidential inquiries within 90 days of receiving a complaint.

Recommend Action

Forward recommendations for appropriate disciplinary action to the Principal / Management.

Awareness Programmes

Organise gender sensitisation workshops, seminars, and outreach for staff and students.

Annual Report

Submit an annual report on the number of cases received, disposed, and pending to the District Officer.

Confidentiality

Maintain strict confidentiality of the identity of the aggrieved person, respondent, and witnesses.

How to Lodge a Complaint

Any aggrieved woman employee or student may submit a complaint in writing to the ICC within 3 months from the date of the incident. A conciliation process may be initiated at the request of the complainant before a formal inquiry begins.
