Veda Vyasa Vyasa Purnima is another name for Guru Purnima. It is observed on the full moon (Purnima) of the Hindu month of Ashadha (June–July). The day is dedicated to honoring gurus (teachers and spiritual guides) and commemorates the birth anniversary of Sage Veda Vyasa.
