About the Department
Government College for Men Kadapa popularly known as Government Arts College is one of the prestigious College in Kadapa Dist. The Department of Hindi has its existence since 1948. The Department of Hindi plays a vital role in promoting the study of Hindi language, literature, and culture among undergraduate students. The Department aims to develop students' linguistic competence, literary appreciation, communication skills, and understanding of India's rich cultural heritage through Hindi.
The department offers courses in Hindi language and literature as part of undergraduate program. The curriculum includes classical and modern Hindi poetry, prose, drama, literary criticism, linguistics, translation studies, and functional Hindi.
